Sketcher Overview fr unigraphics

NX Sketcher is an application that we use to create two-dimensional geometry.

Every sketch is a collection of curves and points in 2D plane that we set.

we can use the sketch to overcome various design needs.

As an example, we can make:

• Detail part by the sweeping, extruding, or revolving the sketch into a solid or sheet.

• the concept of large-scale 2D layout with hundreds, or even thousands, curve sketching.

• Construction of geometry, such as the path of motion, or clearance of the arc.

Sketch constraints

Sketcher tools we capture design intent through geometric relationships and dimensions that we see together as constraints.

With the constraints we make it easier to update the design.

Sketcher evaluating constraints as we work to ensure that all the incomplete and contradictory.

A sketch has been limited because there are many degrees of freedom constraints in the sketch, so there is no ambiguity in the final.

Although not required, we must limit the sketches that define the profile feature.
